Reading through a zillion blogs and articles on EPM myself, I always had a massive respect for those experts who took out valuable time out of their schedule to educate the world. It has personally helped me many many times as well.
Following their footsteps, being in the industry, this is my way to contribute to this world of Oracle EPM, which always tends to bring in new challenges to me as a Consultant and does wonders in the financial processes for the 2400+ big companies who actively use it.
A little something about myself:
My name is Sonali Khajuria, had the privilege of working in Oracle as my first company, where I had to choose a path between Oracle EPM and EBS, and I am pretty sure you know what choice I made. The concept of multidimensional databases was a fascinating way to look at data for me back then, and I understood the value Essbase brings when supercharged with SmartView to the FP&A and Accounting teams who used it.
I was a part of many successful implementations for many clients with Oracle, and from then to now it has been 10 + years, and I’ve been a part of PWC and Huron Consulting Group, until I moved to North America from India and joined Argano .
What will I write about:
With new things being introduced every month, the world of Oracle EPM is certainly not a mundane one.
Via this blog, I intend to write about new things in EPM, better ways to do EPM stuff, some of the common issues which most of the people in EPM face and new techniques which we can leverage to save some time when we deal with Oracle EPM stuff.
